I booked an appointment with Paris Latina in Melbourne, but unfortunately it turned out to be a complete waste of time. I arrived a little early but waited until our agreed appointment time before calling. Her phone was switched off. I tried a few more times with exactly the same result. After waiting another 10 minutes, I gave up and left. She hadn’t asked me to confirm the booking by SMS or anything else, so I really don’t see how I could have been responsible for the no show. Look, I understand that things can come up unexpectedly. It happens to everyone. But surely sending a quick text to say the appointment can no longer go ahead is just basic courtesy. I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Not exactly a great first impression, and definitely not how I wanted to spend my time.
